Special Recruitment Drive for filling up the Backlog reserved vacancies of SC/ST/OBC and PHDirector, Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP) invites applications from Indian nationals for following posts in the areas of Chemical Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering Services and Administration :

1. Scientist Gr.IV(I) : 05 posts (ST-2, OBC-1,PH-2), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay 5400/-, Age : 35 years

2. Technical Staff Gr.III(I) : 01 post (ST), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age : 28 years

3. Support Staff Gr.II (I) : 02 posts (SC-1, OBC-HH-1), Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900, Age : 28 years

4. Support Staff Gr.I (I) : 02 posts (PH-2), Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1800, Age : 28 years

5. Junior Stenographer : 03 posts (SC-1, OBC-1, OBC-VH-1), Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.2400, Age : 28 years

6. Assistant (S&P) Gd.III : 01 post (SC-HH-1), Pay Scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900, Age : 28 years

How to Apply : Application in the prescribed format, which can be download from the website, accompanied by attested copies of certificates, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, etc. alongwith application of fee of Rs.100/- (US$25 in case of candidate applying from abroad) (no fee from SC/ST candidates) in the form of Bank DD in favour of Director, IIP Dehradun payable at SBI Dehradun, should be sent to the Controller of Administration, Indian Institute of Petroleum, PO IIP, Mokhampur, Hardwar Road, Dehradun-248005 (Uttarakhand) so as to reach on or before 15/06/2009.
