Sailors (Unmarried) required by Navy in Kolkata

THE INDIAN NAVY

Indian Navy invites unmarried Indian male citizen from West Bengal who are eligible candidates for Recruitment Drive at Kolkata on 16/04/2009 for Sailor - Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 2/2009 Batch.

Eligibility Conditions:

1. Age : Candidates to be born between 01 August 1988 to 31 July 1992; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : 10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Math’s, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.

2. Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.3200/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale.

3. Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test (objective type and will comprise 4 section i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and GK), Physical Fitness Test (PFT) ( 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 25 squat ups (Uthak Baithak), 10 push ups) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

4. How to Apply: Candidates should come with (i) Original and one attested copy of Matriculation certificate (ii) Original and one attested copy of 10+2/ equivalent examination mark-sheet & certificate (iii) Original and one attested copy of NCC certificate, if any (iv) One self-addressed envelop of size 22x10 cms with Rs.10/- stamp affixed. (v) Original and one attested photocopy of Certificate of Residence. (vi) Seven recent coloured passport size photographs.

Requirement of Drugs Inspector in TNPSC Apr'09

1. Drugs Inspector : 24 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.6500-10500/-, Age : 18-30 years, Qualification : A Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or a Degree in Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology.

Filled in applications on OMR forms (available at the Post offices in Tamil Nadu/ Pudducherry) must be sent to the Controller of Examinations, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Omanthoorar Government Estate, Anna Salai, Chennai – 600002 by Registered Post / Speed Post well in advance so as to reach the Commission’s Office before 5.45 p.m. on 06/05/2009.
