National Power Training Institute, an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Power set up by the Government of India for Human Resources Development in the Power Sector invites applications for the post of Assistant Director (Tech./Faculty) at its Corporate Office, Faridabad or its 8 Institutes located at Badarpur (New Delhi), Nangal (Punjab), Nagpur(Maharashtra), Durgapur (West Bengal), Guwahati (Assam), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Neyveli (Tamil Nadu) as per the details given below :

No. of Posts : 35 (Thirty Five) (SC : 05, ST : 04, OBC : 08, UR : 18)

Age Limit : 40 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)

Pay Band/Grade Pay : Rs.15600-39100 + 5400, DA (presently 65%) and other allowances as applicable

in the Central Govt.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

2. Two years experience at Power Sector/Teaching. Experience will be calculated upto the last date of receipt of applications.

Desirable : (a) Aptitude for training (b) Knowledge of Computer/Simulator.
