CMERI is looking for dynamic and creative to do research for following posts :

1. Scientist Gr. IV (2) : 14 posts (UR-10, SC-2, SC-1, PH-1), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6600/-, Age : 35 years.

2. Scientist Gr. IV (3) : 10 posts (UR-8, SC-1, SC-1, OBC-1), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.7600/- , Age : 40 years.

3. Scientist Gr. IV (5) : 02 posts (UR), Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs.37400-67000 grade pay Rs.8900/- , Age : 50 years.

Application Fee : Rs.100/- (No fee for SC/ST/BC/PH/Ex-Serviceman candidates) in the form of Bank DD in favour of Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute payable at SBI Durgapur for each post.

Walk-in-interview / test will be conducted in the Committee Room of CMERI, Durgapur at the above address during 28th – 30th October, 2009 to select candidates for engagement as ‘Project Assistant’ under various Institute/externally funded projects. The vacancy position may vary either way even across the disciplines and project staff :

1. Project Assistant : 16 posts, Pay : Rs.7000-12000/- per month consolidated.

2. JRF (GATE) : 01 post, Pay : Rs.12000/- per month.

The interested candidates may appear before the Selection Committee with all their original certificates / mark sheets with an attested photo copy of each of it and a recent passport size photograph along with the filled-in application form available in the Institute website, as per the date and time given below. Eligible outstation candidates will be paid to and fro 2nd Class Rail / Bus fare for attending the interview as per rules.
