1. Sub Officer-A : 01 post (SC), Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age : 45 years, Qualification : SSC or equivalent plus Sub Officer's course conducted by National Fire Service College, persons having valid Heavy Vehicle driving license will be given preference ot should have experience of 8 years as Fireman/ Driver-cum-Operator in a well established fire service organization after obtaining the above qualifications. Or should have experience of 5 years as Leading Fireman after obtaining the requisite qualification.

2. Scientific Assistant - B (Pathology Lab Technician) : 01 post (OBC), Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200, Age : 25 years, Qualification : B.Sc. with 50% marks and one year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology with 60% (Pathology Lab Technician) marks.

3. Nurse -A (Male) : 02 posts (SC-1, OBC-1), Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4600, Age : 30 years, Qualification : Hr. Secondary (class 12th) + Diploma in Nursing and Mid-wifery (3 years course) with Registration 'A' grade Nurse or Nursing ' A' certificate with 3 years experience in Hospital or Nursing Assistant Class-III and above from the armed forces. Degree holders will be preferred and considered for awarding 2 additional increment in the pay scale.

THE INDIAN NAVY

Indian Navy invites unmarried Indian male citizen from West Bengal who are eligible candidates for Recruitment Drive at Kolkata on 16/04/2009 for Sailor - Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 2/2009 Batch.

Eligibility Conditions:

1. Age : Candidates to be born between 01 August 1988 to 31 July 1992; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : 10+2 (equivalent qualified with compulsory subjects Math’s, and Physics, optional subjects Chemistry/ Biology/Computers.

2. Pay : During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.3200/-PM, on completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale.

3. Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test (objective type and will comprise 4 section i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and GK), Physical Fitness Test (PFT) ( 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 25 squat ups (Uthak Baithak), 10 push ups) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

4.
