Judicial Translator required by Delhi High Court July'09


HIGH COURT OF DELHI : NEW DELHI

Applications on the prescribed forms are invited from Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts of :

1. Senior Judicial Translator : 03 posts, Pay Band : Rs.9300-34800/- Grade pay Rs.4600, Qualification : B.A. (Hons.) in English or Hindi or Urdu with Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi/Urdu to English and vice versa or 3 years experience in translation work from Hindi/Urdu to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices / Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariat or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/ Supreme Court of India/High Courts.

2. Junior Judicial Translator : 08 posts (UR-3, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1), Pay Band : Rs.9300-34800/- Grade pay Rs.4200, Qualification : Graduate with English or Hindi or Urdu as one of the language at the degree level and with Diploma/ Certificate course in translation from Hindi/Urdu to English and vice versa or 2 years experience in translation work from Hindi/Urdu to English and vice versa in Central/State Government Offices / Parliament/ State Legislature Secretariat or Central/ State Public Sector Undertakings/ Supreme Court of India/ high Courts.

Age : 18-27 years as on 01/01/09. Age relaxation to SC/ST candidates by 5 years and 3 years to OBC candidates and 10 years to PH candidates.

Selection by written examination and interview for selected candidates.

Application Fee : Demand Draft/ Postal order of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of Registrar General, Delhi High Court (No fee shall be payable by the SC/ST/PH Candidates).

How to Apply : Application on prescribed format duly filled in with two recent passport size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer alongwith attested copies of relevant testimonials and application fee should be sent by Registered A.D. Post with the words “APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF ..... ” superscribed on the envelope, addressed to the Joint Registrar (Estt.), Delhi High Court, Sher Shah Road, New Delhi-110003, so as to reach him not later than 13/08/2009.

English Stenographers' Recruitment Examination-2009 by WBPSC

Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma for the combined competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of English Stenographer (Basic Grade) in various offices of Government of West Bengal.

1. English Stenographers : Pay Scale : Rs.4000-8850/-, Age : 18-32 years. Relaxation as per rules., Qualification : (i) A citizen of India or such a person of other nationality as declared eligible by Govt. of India, (ii) Pass in Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent (iii) Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of Nepali speaking candidates from hill areas of the district of Darjeeling).
