1. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) : 06 posts

2. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 42 posts

3. Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 05 posts

4. Assistant Engineer (IT /Computer Science) : 03 posts

5. Assistant Manager (Finance & Accounts) : 05 posts

6. Assistant Manager (HR & Administration) : 09 posts

7. Assistant Manager (Stores) : 03 posts

8. Assistant Manager (Corporate Communication) : 02 posts

9. Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 200 posts

10. Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 30 posts

Pay Scale

Sub-Assistant Engineer : Rs.6300-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.4400.
Engineers/ Assistant Managers : 15600-39100/- Grade Pay Rs.5400.

Age Limit : 27 years as on 01.07.2009. Age is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Reservation : Reservation of post for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped candidates will be as per govt. rules in force.

Application Fee : DD of Rs. 400/- (Rs.300/- for Sub Engineer poss) drawn in favor of West Bengal StateElectricity Distribution Company Ltd. payable at Kolkata only. Demand drafts payable at locations other than Kolkata will not be accepted. Money Order / Postal Order or any other mode of payment is not acceptable. No fee from SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply : Apply Online at WBSEDCL Website only between 3/11/2009 to 18/11/2009. After submitting the details, take the print of the Registration Slip and send it by ordinary posts with fee DD and certificates on or before 23/11/2009 to :
