Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), A Scientific Society of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt.of India is looking for R&D engineers in the area of Free & Open Source Software (FOSS) to join a team of professionals! C-DAC provides conducive environment and ambience for research and development with state-of-the art laboratories and computing facilities :

1. Member Technical Staff (E-III) : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.7600/-, Qualification : First Class in B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 7 years R&D experience OR First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 5 years R&D experience in relevant discipline OR Ph.D in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 4 years R&D experience in relevant field.

2. Member Technical Staff (E-II) : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6600/-, Qualification : First Class in B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 4 years R&D experience OR First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 2 years R&D experience in relevant discipline OR Ph.D in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication.

3. Member Technical Staff (E-I) : 09 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-, Qualification : First Class in B.E. / B. Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication OR First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication.

All the above posts are purely on Contract basis for a period of 3 years.

Age Relaxation : Applicants belonging to the reserved category/Govt. employees/ physically challenged category would be eligible for relaxation as per the Government of India instructions.
