Applications in the prescribed form are invited from Indian citizens for appointment to the post of CourtMaster(Shorthand) in the Pay Band of Rs.15600/- - Rs.39,100/- with grade pay of Rs.6600/- plus usual allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Qualification : A Degree in Law (including BGL/LL.B.(Academic) degree) (ii) Proficiency in Shorthand with a speed of 120 w.p.m in Shorthand(English). (iii) Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m on computer.

Experience : 5 years experienceAge : 30-45 years.

Application Kit : Application Kit can be obtained on any working Monday to Friday between from 14/09/2009 to 05/10/2009, against Demand Draft/Pay Order for Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- in case of SC/ST/Physically Challenged / Ex-Servicemen and dependents of Freedom Fighters) in favour of Registrar, Supreme Court of India payable at New Delhi, from the Reception Counter of Supreme Court or by sending at his/her own risk a self addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs. 60/- affixed thereon alongwith Demand Draft of the requisite amount, in favour of Registrar, Supreme Court of India Payable at New Delhi.

How to Apply : Interested candidates should submit the Application in the prescribed format duly filled in at the Reception Counter of the Supreme Court on any working Monday to Friday till 05/10/2009. Application can also be sent by Registered post addressed to Registrar, Supreme Court of India, Tilak Marg, New Delhi-110001 so as to reach latest by 5.00 P.M. on 05/10/2009.

Note : The Supreme Court Registry shall remain closed w.e.f. 21 st September, 2009 to 28 th September, 2009 on account of Dussehra Holidays. However, the Application Kits will also be available at Reception Counter of the Registry from 10.30 a.m to 1.00 p.m and 2.00 p.m to 4.30 p.m from 21 st September, 2009 to 25 th September, 2009.
