COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION 2010

The Union Public Service commission will hold the Combined Medical Services Examination 2010 on 17th January, 2010. The examination will be held at various centers across the country.

Conditions of Eligibility

(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status

1. Age Limit : Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st January, 2010. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.

(B) Educational Qualifications

1. A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of final MBBS Examination.

Application Form : The candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-.

Fee : Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.

Last date for Receipt of Application : Candidates must send their application to the "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only or by Courier, on or before 05/10/2009.
For candidates of far-flung areas and abroad the last date is 12th October, 2009.

Qualificaitons

1. An unmarried Male or Female Indian citizen, 19 to 23 years of age.

2. A first class Graduate in any discipline with Physics and Math’s at 10+2 level or BE/ B.Tech. Final year students may also apply, provided they would qualify for a degree and submit result by 15 June 2010.

3. At least 162.5 cms in height and have a leg length in the range 99 cms and 120 cms, vision 6/6 without spectacles.

Pay Scale : Flying Officer get salary in the Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay + Military Service Pay.

Last Date : 12/10/2009 for Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshdweep & Minicoy Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Nagaland and Mizoram.
