§ Assistant Professor : Ph.D. degree with first class degree at Bachelor's or Master's level in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology/ Science with 3 years experience in teaching/ industry/research at the level of Lecturer or equivalent. Candidates from industry/profession with Bachelor's s degree in engineering/ technology or First class Master’s degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology AND professional work, which is significant and can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. and with 5 years experience would also be eligible. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. theses and possess 3 years of experience in teaching may also apply., Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300/-

§ Lecturer : First class Master’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology. Candidates likely to complete their ME/MTech by 2009 may also apply. For Lecturer in Science : Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics).
