In the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Design and as well as core courses of mathematics, Physics and Material Science.

Candidates must have (a) good academic background (b) ability and aptitude for teaching undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses and (c) experience in carrying out an independent research. They should have publications in journals of repute and/or experience in carrying out developmental projects of merit. Basic degree in respective branch is preferred.

Experience

1. Professor: Ph.D. with at least 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor.

2. Associate Professor : Ph.D. with at least 8 years of teaching / research/ industrial experience out of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

3. Assistant Professor : Ph.d. with at least 3 years of teaching / research/ industrial experience.

Faculty Positions

Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) is a unitary university established in 2008 by the Government of the NCT of Delhi. The University is in the process of building up a core faculty in the fields of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

AUD invites letters of interest from academics working in universities, colleges and research institutions who have at least ten years experience in the desired areas of knowledge to join AUD as Professors/Associate Professors and help turn the idea of this University into reality. In addition to the senior faculty positions mentioned above, AUD invite applications also for positions of Associate Professors/Assistant Professors and letters of interest for Adjunct and Visiting Faculty positions for the programmes which the University intends to launch in Phase I.

The Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA), an autonomous organization in the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, invites applications for 22 positions of Junior and Senior Research Fellowships for Kala Nidhi Reference Library. The fellows would be entrusted with the responsibilities of carrying out research activities which include study of the multifaceted personality of the donor-scholar, his contribution both in his own field as well as in the field of Indian art and culture according to the institutional priorities and mandate.

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : 11 posts, Qualification : Candidates with at least 55% marks in master’s degree or equivalent examination in the subject areas in which the donor was specialised/ subject of the special collection are eligible to apply for this fellowship. SC/ST/PH candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in master’s degree examination are also eligible. Ph.D in the subject area in which the donor was specialised or in the subjects related to collection is desirable. (ii) Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Library Science would be desirable. Further, candidates with adequate knowledge and experience of handling computers would be preferred, Age : 35 years, Fellowship : Rs.15000/- pm.
